Garland Sessions is a reworked version of the debut Owl Service album, A Garland of Song (2007). AGOS was essentially a collection of roughly recorded demos which didn't come close to realising the grand new folk vision of its creator Steven Collins. Fast forward 5 years and Collins finally felt able to do the album justice by returning to the original session recordings and reworking the tracks into something much closer to what he originally had in mind. Garland Sessions includes all 13 songs from the original album completely remixed and partially re-recorded, plus a further 9 songs which were originally intended for the album but were left off due to various constraints.
